Setup

1. Unpacking and Part Identification

Carefully unpack all components and lay them out. Verify that all parts listed in the included manual are present. It is recommended to assemble the bed frame in the room where it will be used due to its weight.

2. Frame Assembly

Begin by assembling the main metal frame components. Ensure all connections are secure. The wooden slats feature sheathes on each end, making installation a breeze without the need for screws. Simply insert the slats into the designated slots on the frame.

3. Headboard and Storage Drawers Attachment

Operating Instructions

1. Using the Storage Drawers

The bed frame includes four invisible under-bed storage drawers, two on each side. These drawers are ideal for storing bedding, seasonal clothing, or shoes. Each drawer is equipped with smooth wheels for easy access and a built-in lock to keep them securely in place when not in use. To open, gently pull the drawer out. To close and lock, push the drawer fully in until you feel it engage with the locking mechanism.

2. Utilizing the Charging Station

The tufted wingback headboard features a built-in PD (Power Delivery) charging station. This station includes two standard power outlets, one USB-C port, and one USB-A port, compatible with various electronic devices for quick charging. The widened storage platform on top of the headboard provides convenient space for your clock, photos, books, or other bedside essentials.

1. Cleaning the Upholstery

The velvet upholstery material of the bed frame should be dry cleaned only. Avoid using liquid cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the fabric.

2. Noise Reduction

The bed frame incorporates an EVA silent strip between the bed and the iron frame to reduce frictional noise. To maintain a squeak-free experience, regularly check and ensure all connections and slats are securely in place.

3. General Care

Periodically inspect all hardware and tighten any loose bolts. Avoid dragging the bed frame when moving it; always lift it to prevent damage to the frame or your flooring.

Troubleshooting

1. Squeaking or Creaking Noises

If you experience squeaking or creaking, first ensure all assembly bolts are securely tightened. The EVA silent strip is designed to prevent noise, but loose connections can still cause sounds. Check that all wooden slats are properly seated in their plastic caps and are not shifting.

2. Storage Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly or Locking

The storage drawers are designed with wheels for smooth operation and a locking mechanism. If a drawer is not sliding smoothly, check for any obstructions underneath or ensure the wheels are clean. If the drawer is not locking properly, ensure it is pushed fully into the frame until the locking pin engages with the corresponding hole. The drawers are not on traditional tracks, so careful alignment is needed when closing.

3. Instability or Wobbling

If the bed frame feels unstable, re-check all connections and ensure every bolt is tightened. Verify that the bed frame is placed on a flat, even surface. Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 1000 pounds.
