4. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and longevity of your humidifier. Always unplug the device before cleaning.

4.1 Daily/Weekly Cleaning

  • If not used for 24+ hours, carefully pour out any remaining water from the tank and base.
  • Wipe the tank and mist tube with a soft cloth or sponge. Ensure no water enters the fan area.
  • For scale buildup, pour vinegar or citric acid into the base and let it soak for 15 minutes. Pour out the solution and gently brush off any scale from the atomizers.
  • Clean the valve at the tank bottom with a brush if it appears blocked.
  • After cleaning, wipe all components dry or allow them to air dry completely before reassembly.

4.2 Water Quality

For best results and to reduce white dust, use filtered or purified water for human use. Tap water is generally acceptable for plants.

5. Troubleshooting

Refer to the following common issues and their solutions.

5.1 Red Light Blinking

If the red light is blinking, it typically indicates that the water tank is empty. Refill the tank. If the problem persists, empty the tank, press the reset button (spring at the bottom) several times, and clean it with a brush if needed. If the issue continues, record a video of the humidifier head and contact customer service.

5.2 Incorrect Humidity Level Reading

Check if the external humidistat sensor is obstructed or affected by condensation. Wipe it dry with a tissue if condensation is present. Allow a few minutes for the readings to return to normal. The normal error range for the sensor is ±10%.

5.3 Water Leakage & Won't Power On

Water Leakage: Ensure the water tank is properly installed with no visible gaps. Check the spring mechanism at the bottom of the tank and remove any debris that may block it. Make sure the float can move freely; if stuck, gently nudge it up and down.

Won't Power On: Ensure no water entered the air outlet during cleaning, as this can cause a short circuit. If water has entered, let the device dry completely for at least 48 hours before attempting to turn it back on. If the issue persists, contact customer service for a replacement.
