Setup

1. Battery Installation: The scale comes with batteries pre-installed. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and remove any protective plastic tabs to activate the batteries.
2. App Download: Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the product packaging, or search for the 'Fitdays' app in your device's app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS). Download and install the application.
3. Pairing with App:
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.
   • Open the 'Fitdays' app.
   • Turn on the KUAIVO Smart Nutrition Food Scale.
   • The app should automatically detect and connect to the scale. If not, navigate to the 'Device' section within the app and select 'Add Device' to manually pair.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the 'UNIT' button to turn on the scale. The display will show 'Hello~' and then '0'. The scale will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity.
2. Basic Weighing: Place the item directly onto the stainless steel weighing platform. The weight will be displayed on the TFT screen.
3. Unit Conversion: Press the 'UNIT' button repeatedly to cycle through the available measurement units: grams (g), milliliters (ml for water), milliliters (ml for milk), ounces (oz), and pounds:ounces (lb:oz).

4. Tare Function: To weigh ingredients in a container without including the container's weight:
   • Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
   • Press the 'TARE' button. The display will reset to '0'.
   • Add your ingredients to the container. The display will show only the weight of the ingredients.

5. Food Selection & Nutritional Tracking:
   • On-Scale Selection: Use the up/down arrow buttons on the scale's display to browse through 50 built-in food items. Once a food is selected, place it on the scale, and the display will show its weight, calories, fat, carbs, and protein.
   • App Integration: For a more extensive food database (over 1 million items) and detailed nutrient analysis, use the 'Fitdays' app. Place the food on the scale, then select or search for the food item within the app. The app will display comprehensive nutritional data and sync with your daily intake reports.

6. Setting Daily Goals: Within the 'Fitdays' app, you can customize your daily intake goals for calories, protein, carbs, and fat. The app will track your progress and provide reports to help you align with your weight loss, muscle gain, or balanced diet plans.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the scale's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or immersing the scale in water.
• Storage: Store the scale in a dry place away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
• Battery Replacement: If the display becomes dim or unresponsive, replace the batteries.

Troubleshooting

• Scale Not Turning On: Check if the battery protective tab has been removed. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge.
