1. Introduction

The MEGAWISE Grip Strength Dynamometer Pro WL01 is a digital device designed for accurately measuring and tracking hand grip strength. 3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your dynamometer:

  • Large LED Screen: Displays grip strength readings.
  • START Button: Resets the measurement to zero and initiates a new test.
  • UNIT/SET Button: Switches between measurement units (kg/lbs) and is used for setting user profiles.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2 Adjusting the Handle

The handle can be adjusted to fit various hand sizes for optimal comfort and accuracy.

  1. Locate the adjustable knob on the top of the handle.
  2. Turn the knob to move the handle closer or further away from the main body until it fits comfortably in your hand.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press the START button. The display will illuminate.
  • To power off, press and hold the START button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The device also features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery power.

5.2 Unit Selection (lbs/kg)

To switch between pounds (lbs) and kilograms (kg):

  • With the device powered on, press the UNIT/SET button. The unit displayed on the screen will change.

5.3 Taking a Measurement

  1. Ensure the handle is adjusted for a comfortable grip.
  2. Press the START button to reset the reading to zero.
  3. Hold the dynamometer firmly and squeeze the handle with maximum effort.
  4. The peak grip strength will be displayed on the screen.

5.4 Tracking Progress

The device can store multiple user profiles (up to 19) and automatically compares your current reading to previous ones, allowing you to monitor improvements over time.

6. Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • Storage: Store the dynamometer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the device fails to power on.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device does not power on:
        - Check if batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity.
        - Replace with new AAA batteries.
  • Inaccurate readings:
        - Ensure the handle is adjusted for a firm, comfortable grip.
        - Press the START button to reset the device to zero before each measurement.
        - Avoid applying pressure to the sensor before pressing START.
  • Display is dim or flickering:
        - Batteries may be low. Replace with new AAA batteries.
