Setup
- Air Supply Connection: Connect the 1/4" Male NPT air connector to your air impact wrench. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
- Air Compressor: Connect the air hose from your air compressor to the air impact wrench. Ensure your air compressor can provide a stable working pressure of 90 PSI. An air compressor is required for operation and is not included with this unit.
- Lubrication: Before first use and periodically thereafter, add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet. This lubricates the internal components and extends tool life. Use the provided oil pot for this purpose.
- Socket Attachment: Select the appropriate impact-rated socket (17mm, 19mm, 22mm, 24mm, or 27mm) for your application. Push the socket firmly onto the 1/2-inch square drive until it locks into place.

Operating Instructions
- Direction Control (Forward/Reverse): Locate the forward/reverse switch on the tool. Move the switch to the desired direction for tightening (forward) or loosening (reverse) fasteners.
- Torque Adjustment: The tool features a knob adjustment for controlling torque output.
- For tightening, use the first lower setting to preload bolts, then adjust as needed.
- Choose from 3 speed adjustments to match specific torque requirements for your task.
- Engaging the Tool: Place the attached socket firmly onto the fastener. Press the orbital trigger to activate the impact wrench. The orbital trigger design enhances usability and control.
- Operation: Apply steady pressure to the tool while operating. Allow the tool to work, delivering impacts until the fastener is tightened or loosened as required.
- Rear Exhaust: The rear exhaust system directs debris and air away from your work surface, helping to maintain a clean workspace.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your AEROPRO A398 KIT Air Impact Wrench.
- Lubrication: Add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil to the air inlet before each use or at least once daily if used frequently. This is crucial for the internal twin hammer mechanism.
- Cleaning: Keep the tool clean and free from dirt and debris. Wipe down the aluminum alloy housing with a clean cloth. Ensure the air inlet and exhaust ports are clear.
- Air Filter: Regularly check and clean the air filter on your air compressor to ensure a clean air supply to the tool. Contaminants in the air supply can damage the tool.
- Storage: Store the impact wrench in a dry, clean environment when not in use. Disconnect it from the air supply.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the tool for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Address any issues promptly. The anti-aging valve ensures better sealing and a longer service life, but regular checks are still recommended.
