Assembly Instructions

The chair is designed for easy assembly. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage. All necessary tools are typically included.

Before You Begin:

• Unpack all components and verify against the parts list (not provided in this manual, refer to packaging).
• Ensure you have sufficient space for assembly.

Step-by-Step Assembly:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled chair base.
3. Assemble Seat Mechanism: Attach the seat mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the "FRONT" label on the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
4. Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Do not overtighten initially.
5. Connect Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the seat and attach it using the remaining screws. Tighten all screws for the armrests and backrest securely.
6. Place Seat Assembly onto Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.
7. Attach Headrest: Slide the adjustable headrest into the designated slots at the top of the backrest.
8. Install Footrest: Attach the retractable footrest assembly to the underside of the seat as per the instructions provided with the footrest components.

After assembly, sit on the chair to ensure the gas lift is properly seated and all connections are secure.

Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the chair's adjustment mechanisms to optimize your comfort and support.

1. Seat Height Adjustment

• To Raise: While standing, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
• To Lower: While seated, pull the lever on the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

2. Backrest Recline and Lock

• To Recline: Pull the lever located on the left side of the seat upwards. Lean back to the desired angle (between 90° and 135°). Release the lever to lock the backrest in position.
• To Return Upright: While seated, pull the recline lever upwards and lean forward slightly. The backrest will return to its upright position. Release the lever to lock.

3. Adjustable Headrest

• To Adjust: Grip the headrest firmly and pull it upwards or push it downwards to achieve your preferred height. It will click into place at various positions.

4. Retractable Footrest

• To Extend: Pull the footrest handle outwards from underneath the seat. Unfold the footrest pad.
• To Retract: Fold the footrest pad back and push the entire assembly inwards until it is fully stored under the seat.

5. Swivel Function

• The chair seat can rotate 360 degrees. Simply turn the chair in the desired direction.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps prolong the life and appearance of your office chair.

• Cleaning Upholstery:
  • Wipe the faux leather upholstery with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and wipe clean immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
• Caster Care: Periodically check the casters for accumulated hair or debris. Clean them to ensure smooth and silent movement.
• Hardware Check: Every 3-6 months, inspect all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Moving Parts: Do not lubricate the gas lift or other internal mechanisms unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
