The cable is black, coiled, with a standard USB-A connector on one end and a USB-C connector on the other.

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your USB C Charger:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the USB charger and USB cable from their packaging.
  2. Connect Cable to Charger: Insert the standard USB-A end of the provided USB cable into the USB-A port on the Kircuit charger block. Ensure it is firmly seated.
  3. Connect to Device: Insert the USB-C end of the cable into the charging port of your Waterdrop Electric Water Filter Pitcher.
  4. Plug into Power Outlet: Plug the charger block into a standard AC electrical wall outlet (100-240V).

Your device should now begin charging or receive power for operation.

4. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the charger operates automatically:

  • Charging: If your Waterdrop pitcher has a rechargeable battery, the charger will automatically initiate the charging process. Refer to your pitcher's manual for charging indicators (e.g., LED lights).
  • Direct Power: If your device can operate directly from external power without a battery, the charger will supply the necessary power for its function.
  • Disconnecting: To disconnect, first unplug the charger from the wall outlet, then remove the USB-C cable from your device, and finally, if desired, disconnect the USB-A cable from the charger block.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your charger, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the charger and cable. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the charger and cable in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
  • Handling: Avoid bending or kinking the cable excessively, especially near the connectors, as this can damage internal wires. Do not pull the cable to unplug; always grasp the plug itself.
  • Environmental Conditions: Do not expose the charger to water, high humidity, or corrosive environments.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your charger, consider the following common solutions:

  • Device Not Charging/Powering On:
    • Ensure the charger is securely plugged into a working wall outlet. Test the outlet with another device.
    • Verify that both ends of the USB cable are firmly connected to the charger and your Waterdrop pitcher.
    • Check the USB cable for any visible damage (frays, cuts). If damaged, replace the cable.
    • Confirm that your Waterdrop pitcher model is listed as compatible with this charger.
  • Charger Feels Warm:
    • It is normal for chargers to become slightly warm during operation. If it becomes excessively hot or emits a burning smell, immediately unplug it and discontinue use.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact customer support.
