Setup
Battery Installation
Each Pets Alive Running Squirrel requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the squirrel.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
- Repeat for the second squirrel.

Operating Instructions
The Pets Alive Running Squirrels are designed for simple, interactive play.
Activation
To activate a squirrel, gently stroke the top of its head. The squirrel will begin to scurry around, mimicking the movements of a real squirrel. It will automatically stop after a short period.
