6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Saaf Multicooker.

Figure 6.1: Inner pot and lid for easy cleaning.
6.1 Cleaning the Inner Pot
The inner pot is non-stick and easy to clean. After each use, allow the pot to cool completely. Wash it with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
6.2 Cleaning the Lids and Sealing Ring
Wash both the pressure lid and the glass lid with warm, soapy water. For the pressure lid, carefully remove the sealing ring and wash it separately. Ensure all valves and vents are clear of food debris. Rinse all parts thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reassembling. The sealing ring should be reinserted correctly to ensure proper sealing during pressure cooking.
6.3 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the multicooker base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid. Ensure the control panel and display are clean and dry.
6.4 Storage
After cleaning, ensure all parts are completely dry. Store the multicooker in a dry place. You can store the inner pot inside the base for compact storage.
