2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Mounting the Unit
- Choose a suitable location on your chicken coop for the automatic flap. Ensure the surface is flat and stable.
- Mark the drilling points using the unit as a template.
- Drill pilot holes and securely attach the chicken flap unit using the provided mounting screws.
5.2 Solar Panel Connection
- Mount the solar panel in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.
- Connect the solar panel cable to the designated port on the main chicken flap unit.
5.3 Initial Power-Up
The unit has an integrated 5000mAh battery. Ensure it is sufficiently charged before first use. You can use the provided charging cable or rely on the solar panel.
6. APP Setup and WiFi Connection
6.1 Download the APP
Download the "WiFiEye" or "iWFCam" application from your smartphone's app store. A QR code for the manual might be available on the product packaging for direct download links.
6.2 Connect to WiFi
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Open the downloaded app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
- The app will guide you through connecting the chicken flap unit to your home WiFi network.
- If connection issues occur, ensure the unit is within WiFi range and try again.
7. Operating Modes
The XIIW Automatic Chicken Flap offers four primary operating modes:

7.1 APP Control
Use the "WiFiEye" or "iWFCam" app on your smartphone to manually open or close the door, set schedules, monitor the camera feed, and activate the alarm or two-way talk function.
7.2 Time Control Mode
Set specific opening and closing times for the door via the smartphone app. The door will operate automatically according to your programmed schedule (e.g., open in the morning, close at night).
7.3 Remote Control
The included wireless remote control allows for manual opening and closing of the door. This is useful for quick access without needing your smartphone.
7.4 Combined APP and Remote Control
The system supports simultaneous use of both APP control and the physical remote control for maximum flexibility.
8. Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the solar panel to ensure optimal charging efficiency. Use a soft, damp cloth.
- Wipe down the main unit and door mechanism to remove dirt, dust, or debris that could impede operation.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
8.2 Battery Care
- The integrated 5000mAh battery is charged by the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to sufficient sunlight.
