- Automatic AI Detection: This mode uses AI algorithms to automatically scan for various hidden devices. The device will alert you to potential threats.
- RF Signal Detection (Wireless Bug/Camera): Detects wireless signals from 1 MHz to 8 GHz, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular signals used by hidden cameras and listening devices.
- Move the detector slowly around the area.
- The LED indicators will light up, and an audible alert (if enabled) will increase in intensity as you approach a signal source.
- Adjust sensitivity to pinpoint the exact location.
- Infrared Laser Scan (Hidden Camera Lens): This mode helps locate hidden camera lenses, even if they are not actively transmitting.
- Activate the IR scan. Red lights on the detector will flash.
- Look through the detector's viewing window (if applicable) or directly at surfaces while sweeping the area.
- Hidden camera lenses will appear as bright red dots reflecting the laser light.

- Magnetic Field Detection (GPS Trackers): Designed to find magnetic GPS trackers often attached to vehicles or metallic surfaces.
- Attach the magnetic probe (if separate) or use the integrated magnetic sensor.
- Sweep the detector close to surfaces, especially under vehicles, dashboards, or furniture.
- An alert will sound and LEDs will indicate proximity to a magnetic field.
- Vibration Alarm: When activated, the device will vibrate to alert you silently to detected threats, ideal for discreet use in public spaces.
Alert System
The S501 features a triple alert system:
- LED Flash: Visual indication of detected signals.
- Audible Alert: Beeping sound that increases in frequency and volume as you get closer to a device.
- Vibration: Discreet tactile feedback for detection.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the device openings.
Storage
Store the detector in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain its lifespan.
Battery Care
The device uses a Lithium-polymer battery. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. For optimal battery life, avoid leaving the device plugged in constantly after it's fully charged.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Low battery. | Charge the device using the USB-C cable. |
| No detection or weak signal. | Low sensitivity setting; device too far from source; interference. | Increase sensitivity. Move closer to the suspected area. Reduce other electronic devices nearby. |
| Frequent false alarms. | High sensitivity setting; strong ambient RF signals (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cell towers). | Decrease sensitivity. Move away from known signal sources. |
| IR scan not showing reflections. | No hidden camera present; incorrect scanning technique. | Ensure you are sweeping slowly and thoroughly. Check all potential hiding spots. |
