Introduction
Thank you for choosing the AEOCKY Max 50 Pint/D Dehumidifier. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new appliance. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your dehumidifier, follow these basic precautions:
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Always plug the unit into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not remove the grounding prong.
- Do not use an adapter.
- Do not use an extension cord.
- Unplug the dehumidifier before servicing.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug.
- Do not use the unit in areas where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
- Ensure the air outlet is open before powering on the unit.
Setup and Installation
Upon receiving your dehumidifier, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly.
Placement
Place the dehumidifier on a level surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 8 inches from walls or furniture).

Mobility
The unit is equipped with 360° caster wheels and an integrated handle for easy movement across rooms and floors. This design allows for effortless repositioning without lifting.
Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers three convenient drainage methods:
- Manual Emptying: The transparent water tank collects condensed water. The unit will automatically shut off when the tank is full, and the multicolor ambient light will indicate this. Simply pull out the tank, empty it, and reinsert.
- Continuous Drainage (Included Hose): For continuous operation without manual emptying, attach the included drain hose to the drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a suitable floor drain.
- Continuous Drainage (Garden Hose Adapter): For customized drainage length, connect a standard garden hose using the provided adapter. This allows for flexible placement and continuous water removal.

Power On/Off
Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off. Ensure the air outlet is open before powering on.
Mode Selection
Press the Mode button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Dehumidify Mode: Standard operation to reduce humidity to your set level.
- Dry Mode: For continuous drying, often used for laundry or very damp areas.
- Continuous Mode: The unit runs continuously regardless of the set humidity level.
Humidity Setting
Use the HUMI button to adjust your desired humidity level between 30% and 80% relative humidity. The unit will operate to maintain this level.
Fan Speed
Press the Speed button to select between Low and High fan speeds. Higher speeds result in faster dehumidification.
Timer Function
The Timer button allows you to set an automatic shut-off time for the unit, up to 24 hours.
Child Lock
Activate the Lock function by pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings, ideal for households with children or pets.
Ambient Light Indicator
The multicolor ambient light provides a visual indication of current humidity levels:
- Blue: Humidity below 45%
- Green: Humidity between 45% and 65%
- Red: Humidity above 65%
- Flashing Red: Water tank is full.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.
Emptying the Water Tank
When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop and indicate with a flashing red ambient light. Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit, empty the collected water, and slide it back into place. Ensure the tank is properly seated for the unit to resume operation.

Cleaning the Air Filter
The dehumidifier features a washable nylon filter. Periodically check and clean the filter to maintain air quality and unit efficiency. Simply remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
Troubleshooting
If your dehumidifier is not operating as expected, consider the following common issues:
- Unit not turning on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and not full. Verify the air outlet is open.
- No water collection: The ambient humidity might be below the set target. Increase the target humidity or select Continuous mode. Ensure the room temperature is above 42°F (5.5°C), as the unit's efficiency decreases in very cold conditions.
- Unit is noisy: Check if the unit is on a stable, level surface. Ensure the air filter is clean and not obstructed.
- Frost on coils: The unit features automatic defrost sensors. If frost appears, the unit will automatically enter defrost mode. This is normal operation in cooler conditions.
