4. Installation Guide

The JOMISE A80 Dash Cam is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:

4.1 Front Camera Installation

  1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
  2. Attach the electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area on the windshield. This helps protect your windshield and makes removal easier.
  3. Attach the suction cup GPS mount to the electrostatic sticker. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  4. Slide the A80 front dash cam onto the GPS mount until it clicks into place.
  5. Adjust the camera angle to ensure it captures the road ahead clearly, avoiding obstruction from the rearview mirror or wipers.

4.2 Rear Camera Installation

  1. Identify a suitable location on your rear windshield for the rear camera. Ensure it has a clear view and does not obstruct your driving vision.
  2. Clean the chosen area thoroughly.
  3. Attach the rear camera using its adhesive or mounting bracket.
  4. Route the rear camera cable from the rear camera to the front dash cam. Use the provided crowbar to tuck the cable neatly along the headliner and A-pillars to conceal it.
  5. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the front dash cam.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
  2. Connect the USB-C end of the power supply cable to the front dash cam.
