Setup
1. Charging the Parent Unit
Before initial use, charge the parent unit for at least 12 hours. Connect one of the provided AC adapters to the parent unit and a power outlet. The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status. A full charge provides up to 17 hours of video streaming or 31 hours in audio-only mode.

2. Positioning the Baby Unit (Camera)
Place the baby unit in a location that provides a clear view of your baby in the crib or play area. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the baby to prevent entanglement with cords. The baby unit can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall.
- Connect the second AC adapter to the baby unit and a power outlet.
- Adjust the camera angle manually or use the remote pan/tilt/zoom functions from the parent unit once powered on.

3. Powering On/Off
- Parent Unit: Press and hold the POWER button until the screen turns on/off.
- Baby Unit: The baby unit powers on automatically when connected to an AC adapter. To turn off, disconnect from power.
4. Secure Connection
The VTech 924W monitor uses a secure 2.4GHz FHSS wireless technology for direct connection between the parent and baby units. No Wi-Fi or app is required for operation, ensuring privacy and ease of use. The units are pre-paired from the factory.

Operating the Monitor
Video and Audio Monitoring
Once both units are powered on and linked, the parent unit will display live video from the baby unit. You will also hear audio from the baby's room.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the parent unit to adjust the listening volume.
- Sound Indicator: The parent unit features a 3-level sound indicator to visually represent the intensity of sounds detected by the baby unit.

Remote Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ)
Control the camera's view remotely from the parent unit:
- Use the directional arrows on the parent unit to pan (move horizontally) and tilt (move vertically) the camera.
- Press the ZOOM button to zoom in up to 2x for a closer view.
Two-Way Talk
Communicate with your baby through the monitor:
