Operating Instructions

Before Starting

  • Clear the area of any debris or objects that could be thrown by the auger.
  • Ensure the extension cord is properly connected and routed away from the clearing path.
  • Check that all fasteners are tight and the chute control operates smoothly.

Starting the Snow Blower

  1. Connect the snow blower's power cord to a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord.
  2. Plug the extension cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Press and hold the safety button located on the handle.
  4. While holding the safety button, squeeze the bail switch lever towards the handle. The auger will begin to rotate, and the LED light will illuminate.
  5. Release the safety button once the motor starts.

Operating the Snow Blower

  • Clearing Snow: Push the snow blower forward at a steady pace. Do not force the machine into heavy snow. Take smaller passes if necessary.
  • Directional Chute Control: Use the chute control lever on the handle to adjust the direction of snow discharge. This allows you to direct snow away from cleared areas or obstacles.
  • LED Light: The integrated LED light activates automatically when the snow blower is running, providing improved visibility during low-light conditions.
  • Overload Protection: If the snow blower bogs down or stops due to excessive load, release the bail switch, clear any obstructions, and wait a few moments before restarting.

Stopping the Snow Blower

To stop the snow blower, simply release the bail switch lever. The auger will stop rotating, and the motor will shut off. Always disconnect the power cord from the outlet after use.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your snow blower. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

After Each Use

  • Clean the Unit: Remove any snow, ice, or debris from the auger housing, chute, and exterior surfaces. Use a plastic scraper or brush; never use your hands.
