1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your LMFUEN Portable Electric Lunch Box and Mini Rice Cooker. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Precautions

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage matches your local power supply (110V). Do not immerse the main unit in water. Always unplug the device when not in use or before cleaning.
• Water Level: Always add water to the heating base before operation. The appliance features an anti-dry burning function that automatically powers off if water runs out.
• Lids: Do not cover the stainless steel bowls with their plastic lids when cooking or heating, as this can cause pressure buildup. The lids are for storage only.
• Hot Surfaces: The appliance generates steam and heat during operation. Exercise caution to avoid burns.
• Children: This product is not intended for use by children 12 and under. Keep out of reach of children.
• Cleaning: Clean the product with dish soap before first use.
• Damage: Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped.

3. Product Overview

The LMFUEN Portable Electric Lunch Box is designed for convenient cooking and heating of meals. It features a two-layer design with multiple stainless steel containers.

Components:

• Outer Cover: Top lid of the lunch box.
• Liner Seal Caps: Transparent lids for individual stainless steel bowls (for storage, not cooking).
• Stainless Steel Liners (Bowls): Four removable 500ml capacity bowls for food.
• Middle Spacer Shelf: Separates the two layers and holds the upper bowls.
• Heating Base: The main unit containing the heating element and water reservoir.
• Power Cord: For connecting to an electrical outlet.
• Power Button/Indicator: To start/stop cooking and show operation status.
• Side Latches: Securely fasten the layers together.
• Handle: For easy portability.

4. Setup and First Use

Before using your electric lunch box for the first time, please follow these steps:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Wash all stainless steel bowls, plastic lids, and the middle spacer shelf with warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the main heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water.
3. Initial Run (Recommended): Add approximately 30ml of water to the heating base. Place all empty stainless steel bowls (without their plastic lids) into the unit, assemble the layers, and close the outer cover. Plug in the power cord and press the power button to run a short heating cycle. This helps to remove any manufacturing residues. Once the water has evaporated or the cycle finishes, unplug and allow to cool.
4. Assembly: Place the desired number of stainless steel bowls into the heating base. If using two layers, place the middle spacer shelf on top of the lower bowls, then add the upper bowls. Secure the outer cover with the side latches.

5. Operating Instructions

Your LMFUEN Electric Lunch Box can be used for cooking raw food or reheating pre-cooked meals.

General Operation:

1. Prepare Food: Place your desired food items into the stainless steel bowls. Ensure the plastic lids are removed from the bowls before placing them into the heating unit.
2. Add Water to Base: Pour the appropriate amount of water into the heating base. Refer to the "Cooking Guide" section for recommended water volumes based on food type and cooking time. Do not overfill.
3. Assemble: Place the food-filled stainless steel bowls into the heating base. If using two layers, position the middle spacer shelf and the upper bowls. Close the outer cover and secure the side latches.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the appliance and then into a 110V electrical outlet.
5. Start Cooking: Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the heating process has begun.
6. Automatic Shut-off: The appliance will automatically turn off when the water in the heating base has completely evaporated. The indicator light will turn off.
7. Serve: Once cooking is complete, unplug the appliance. Carefully open the outer cover and remove the hot bowls using oven mitts or a cloth to avoid burns.

Special Functions:

• Egg Steaming: The middle spacer shelf can be used as an egg holder for steaming eggs. Place eggs in the designated slots, add water to the base, and cook according to the guide.
• Dry Burning Protection: The device will automatically power off if the water in the heating base runs out, preventing damage.

6. Cooking Time Reference Guide

The following table provides approximate water volumes and cooking times. These are general guidelines and may vary based on food quantity, desired doneness, and ambient temperature. Adjust as needed for your preference.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your lunch box.

• Unplug First: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Stainless Steel Bowls & Lids: These are dishwasher safe or can be hand-washed with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
• Heating Base: Wipe the interior and exterior of the heating base with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Never immerse the heating base in water.
• Descaling: If mineral deposits build up in the heating base, fill it with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) and let it sit for 30 minutes, then gently scrub and rinse.
• Storage: Store the clean and dry lunch box in a cool, dry place.
