2. Compatibility

This autoradio is specifically compatible with BMW vehicles equipped with the CCC System from 2003-2008. This includes:

  • BMW 5 Series: E60, E61, E63, E64
  • BMW 3 Series: E90, E91, E92

Important: This unit is ONLY for vehicles with the CCC system. It is NOT compatible with CIC or NBT systems.

To identify your vehicle's system, check the LVDS connector type. CCC systems typically use a 10-pin LVDS connector, while CIC systems use a 4-pin LVDS connector.

4. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before beginning installation.

4.1 Pre-Installation Check

  • Confirm your vehicle has the CCC system (refer to Section 2).
  • Ensure your original car menu has AUX audio output settings. The product uses the AUX audio source for sound transmission. If your vehicle does not have a native AUX input, it may need to be activated or installed separately for audio functionality.

4.2 Installation Steps

  1. Carefully remove the original display unit and trim pieces using the provided pry tool.

4.3 Initial Configuration

After physical installation, perform the following software configurations:
