4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack and Clean: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Wash the water tank, filter tray, and nozzles with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
2. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the fountain's built-in 5,000mAh battery using the provided charging cable. The Battery Indicator Light will show a breathing green while charging and solid dark green when fully charged.

3. Install Filter: Place a new filter cartridge into the filter tray. Ensure it is seated correctly.
4. Assemble Fountain: Place the filter tray with the filter into the water tank. Attach the desired nozzle to the water outlet.
5. Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with clean water up to the MAX fill line. Avoid overfilling.
6. Place Top Unit: Carefully place the top unit onto the water tank, ensuring it is securely aligned.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Indicator Lights

The fountain features several indicator lights to communicate its status:

• Water Level Indicator Light:
  • Solid dark green: Water tank is full.
  • Solid light green: Water level is large.
  • Solid light red: Water level is moderate.
  • Solid dark red: Water level is low; prepare to add water.
  • Flashing dark red: Fountain has stopped due to lack of water. Add water immediately.
• Filter Life Indicator Light:
  • Solid dark green: Filter needs replacement.
• Battery Indicator Light:
  • Solid dark green: Battery is fully charged.
  • Solid light green: Battery is close to full.
  • Solid light red: Medium power; consider charging.
  • Solid dark red: Low battery; charge soon.
  • Flashing dark red: Very low battery; device will shut down.
  • Breathing green: Device is charging.
• Mode Indicator Light:
  • Solid green: Continuous Mode (only when plugged in).
  • Solid blue: Timer Mode (only when plugged in).
  • Solid white: Motion Sensor Mode (works with or without power supply).

5.2 Operating Modes

The fountain offers three smart hydration modes:

• A. Motion Sensor Mode: When the device detects a pet passing by, it dispenses water for 45 seconds. This mode operates regardless of whether the power supply is connected.
• B. Timer Mode: Dispenses water for 60 seconds every 2 minutes. This mode extends the life of the water pump and ensures fresh water throughout the day. This mode only works when the fountain is plugged into a power source.
• C. Continuous Mode: Provides a steady flow of water. This mode only works when the fountain is plugged into a power source.

5.3 Filter Timer Reset

After replacing the filter, press and hold the filter timer reset button for 5 seconds (while the device is in an unlocked state) to manually reset the filter timer.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Regular Cleaning

The pumpless and detachable design makes cleaning straightforward. Regular cleaning is essential to maintain hygiene and prolong the fountain's lifespan.

1. Disassemble: Separate the top unit from the water tank. Remove the filter tray and nozzle.
2. Clean Components: Wash the water tank, filter tray, and nozzle with mild soap and water. Use a soft brush to clean any residue. The pumpless design ensures no blind spots for cleaning.
3. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse all components thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
4. Wipe Dry: Wipe all parts dry before reassembly.

6.2 Filter Replacement

The fountain uses an upgraded 4-layer filtration system. Replace the filter cartridge when the Filter Life Indicator Light shows solid dark green, or approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage and water quality.

1. Remove the top unit and filter tray.
2. Discard the old filter cartridge.
3. Rinse a new filter cartridge under running water to remove any loose carbon dust.
4. Place the new filter into the filter tray.
5. Reassemble the fountain and reset the filter timer as described in section 5.3.

7. Troubleshooting

Refer to the indicator lights for common issues:

• Fountain stops dispensing water: Check the Water Level Indicator Light. If flashing dark red, the water level is too low. Add water immediately.
• Fountain not turning on: Check the Battery Indicator Light. If flashing dark red, the battery is critically low. Charge the device.
• Water flow is weak: Ensure the water level is sufficient. Clean the nozzle and filter tray to remove any blockages. Replace the filter if it is old or clogged.
• Unusual noise: Ensure all components are correctly assembled and seated. Check for any debris in the water tank or around the water outlet.
