Setup Guide
Follow these steps to assemble your Donner DED-70 Electric Drum Set.
1. Assembling the Drum Rack
- Unfold the main drum rack frame and ensure all joints are securely locked.
- Adjust the height and position of the rack arms to your preferred ergonomic setup. The rack is designed to be adjustable for players aged 6-14 years.
2. Attaching Drum Pads and Cymbals
- Mount the 6.5" mesh drum pads (snare and tom pads) onto the designated clamps on the rack. Secure them firmly.
- Attach the 9" rubber cymbals (hi-hat, crash, ride) to their respective cymbal arms on the rack. Ensure they are positioned for comfortable playing.

3. Connecting the Sound Module
- Mount the DED-70 sound module onto the central part of the drum rack.
- Connect each drum pad and cymbal to the corresponding input jacks on the back of the sound module using the provided cables. Refer to the labels on the module for correct connections.
- Connect the hi-hat control pedal and kick pedal to their respective inputs on the sound module.
- Plug the power adapter into the sound module and then into a power outlet.
4. Setting up the Drum Throne and Pedals
- Assemble the drum throne and adjust its height for comfortable seating relative to the drum kit.
- Position the kick pedal and hi-hat pedal on the floor in front of the kit for easy access.
5. Setting up the Practice Pad and Stand
- Assemble the snare drum stand by extending its legs and adjusting the height.
- Place the 12" double-sided drum practice pad into the basket of the snare drum stand. The stand is adjustable from 14.2" to 22.8" in height.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- To power on, press the power button on the sound module.
- To power off, press and hold the power button until the display turns off.

The DED-70 sound module, featuring controls for selecting from 15 drum kits, 150 sounds, and 10 demo songs. It also includes buttons for metronome, click, record/save, and demo functions.
2. Navigating Drum Kits and Sounds
- Use the KIT button or rotary knob to cycle through the 15 customizable drum kits.
- Each kit contains a selection of the 150 built-in sounds.
3. Playing Demo Songs
- Press the DEMO button to play one of the 10 built-in demo songs.
- Press DEMO again to stop playback.
4. Adjusting Volume
- Use the VOLUME knob on the sound module to adjust the overall output volume.
- Connect headphones to the headphone jack for private practice.
5. Portable Power Supply
- The DED-70 sound module supports power from a portable charger (not included) for increased portability. Connect the portable charger to the DC input jack.
