  • Initial Operation: During the first few hours of operation, a slight odor may be emitted. This is normal and will dissipate quickly as manufacturing residues burn off.
  • Convection Heating: The heater provides quiet, even convection heat. Avoid placing objects directly on or in front of the heater that could obstruct airflow.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater. Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning: The front panel is detachable for easy access to the interior for cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Dust Removal: Periodically vacuum or brush away any dust or debris that may accumulate on the heating element or within the grille openings.
  • Inspection: Annually inspect the heater for any signs of damage, loose connections, or unusual wear. If any issues are found, contact a qualified technician.

7. Troubleshooting

If your heater is not functioning correctly, consult the following table before contacting customer support.

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Heater does not turn on.No power supply; circuit breaker tripped; thermostat set too low; loose wiring.Check circuit breaker; ensure thermostat is set above room temperature; verify electrical connections (by a qualified electrician).
Insufficient heat output.Heater wattage too low for room size; obstructed airflow; thermostat malfunction.Ensure heater is appropriately sized for the room; clear any obstructions; check thermostat calibration or replace if faulty.
Unusual odors during operation.Initial burn-off of manufacturing residues; dust accumulation on heating element. This is normal during initial use and will dissipate. Clean the heating element if dust is present (after disconnecting power).
Heater cycles on and off too frequently.Thermostat located in a drafty area; thermostat calibration issue.Relocate thermostat if possible; consult thermostat manual for calibration or replacement.
