1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Camgeet HDMI + DisplayPort KVM Switch, designed to allow two computers to share two monitors and four USB 3.0 peripheral devices. It supports high-resolution video output up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@144Hz.

3. Product Overview

The Camgeet KVM Switch features multiple ports for connecting computers, monitors, and USB peripherals. It includes a power switch, input/output ports, and indicators for active computers.

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your computers, monitors, and peripherals to the KVM switch:

  1. Power Off Devices: Ensure all computers and monitors are powered off before making connections.
  2. Connect Monitors to KVM: Connect your two monitors to the KVM switch's output ports (HDMI OUT A, DisplayPort OUT A, HDMI OUT B, DisplayPort OUT B).
  3. Connect Computers to KVM:
    • For PC 1: Connect one HDMI cable from PC 1 to KVM's HDMI INPUT A 1, one DisplayPort cable from PC 1 to KVM's DP INPUT A 1, and one USB 3.0 cable from PC 1 to KVM's USB-A INPUT A 1.
    • For PC 2: Connect one HDMI cable from PC 2 to KVM's HDMI INPUT B 2, one DisplayPort cable from PC 2 to KVM's DP INPUT B 2, and one USB 3.0 cable from PC 2 to KVM's USB-A INPUT B 2.
  4. Connect USB Peripherals: Connect your keyboard, mouse, printer, or other USB 3.0 devices to the USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the KVM switch.
  5. Connect Wired Remote (Optional): Plug the wired remote control into its dedicated port on the front panel.
  6. Connect Power Adapter: Plug the 12V power adapter into the DC 12V input port on the rear of the KVM switch, then plug it into a power outlet.
  7. Power On: Turn on the KVM switch using the ON/OFF switch, then power on your monitors and computers.

5. Operating Instructions

The KVM switch offers two methods for switching between connected computers:

5.1. Button Switching

Press the SELECT button on the front panel of the KVM switch to cycle between PC 1 and PC 2. The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate to show the active computer.

5.2. Wired Remote Switching

Use the included wired remote control to switch between computers. Press the button on the remote to toggle between PC 1 and PC 2. LEDs on the remote indicate the active computer.

6. Display Modes

The KVM switch supports two primary display modes for your dual monitor setup:

6.1. Extended Mode

In extended mode, your two monitors function as separate displays, allowing you to extend your desktop across both screens. This is suitable for multitasking and increasing workspace.

6.2. Mirror Mode (Duplicate Mode)

In mirror mode, both monitors display the same content. This is useful for presentations or when you need identical information on two screens.
