Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your VTOMAN X3. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to the Type-C port on the device and to a suitable USB wall adapter (not included). The screen will indicate charging status. A full charge ensures optimal performance, especially for jump-starting.
Operating Instructions
1. Jump Starting a Vehicle
The VTOMAN X3 can jump-start 12V vehicles with up to 9L gasoline or 8L diesel engines.
- Ensure the X3 is sufficiently charged.
- Connect the smart jumper cable to the jump start port on the X3.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or a solid metal part of the engine block (chassis ground).
- Check the smart jumper cable indicator. If it shows a solid green light, proceed to start the vehicle. If it shows a red light or flashes, check connections or press the "BOOST" button on the smart cable if the battery is completely dead or voltage is too low to detect.
- Start the vehicle's engine.
- Once the engine starts, immediately disconnect the black (-) clamp, then the red (+) clamp from the vehicle battery.
- Disconnect the smart jumper cable from the X3.
