4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, sterilize all parts that come into contact with breast milk. Refer to the "Cleaning and Sterilization" section for detailed instructions.

4.1. Assembling the Pump

  1. Insert the valve into the bottom of the collection cup. Ensure it is securely seated.
  2. Place the silicone diaphragm onto the top of the collection cup, ensuring a tight seal around the rim.
  3. Attach the silicone breast cushion to the collection cup, aligning the edges properly.
  4. If needed, insert the appropriate size nipple insert into the breast cushion.
  5. Connect the motor unit to the assembled collection cup.

4.2. Nipple Sizing

Proper nipple sizing is crucial for comfort and effective milk expression. Use the included sizing card or a ruler to measure your nipple diameter. Select the breast cushion or insert size that provides a comfortable fit without compressing the nipple or areola.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Charging the Motor Unit

Connect the USB-C cable to the motor unit and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides power for about 5 pumping sessions.

5.2. Pumping Procedure

  1. Ensure the pump is clean and properly assembled.
  2. Place the assembled collection cup inside your bra, ensuring your nipple is centered within the breast cushion. The transparent design allows for visual alignment.
  3. Press the power button on the motor unit to turn it on. The pump will start in stimulation mode.
  4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the stimulation intensity (8 settings available).
  5. Once milk flow begins, press the mode button (often indicated by a drop icon or similar) to switch to expression mode.
  6. Adjust the expression intensity using the '+' and '-' buttons (16 settings available) to find a comfortable and effective level.
  7. Pump until milk flow slows or stops, or for your desired duration.
  8. Press the power button to turn off the pump.
  9. Carefully remove the pump from your bra and disassemble for cleaning.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and sterilization of pump parts are essential for hygiene and optimal performance.

6.1. Disassembly for Cleaning

Always disassemble all parts that come into contact with breast milk immediately after each use. This includes the collection cup, silicone breast cushion, valve, and diaphragm.

6.2. Cleaning and Sterilization

  • Cleaning: Wash all disassembled parts (except the motor unit) in warm soapy water. Use a soft brush to clean thoroughly. Rinse well with clean water.
  • Dishwasher: All parts (except the motor unit) are dishwasher safe (top rack only).
  • Sterilization: Sterilize parts by boiling them in water for 5 minutes, using a steam sterilizer, or a microwave sterilizer. Ensure parts do not touch the sides of the pot during boiling to prevent damage.
  • Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely on a clean surface or use a clean cloth.
  • Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
