1. Introduction

The DreamSky Weather Station is designed to provide accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with weather forecasts and atomic time. Its large, colorful display ensures easy readability from a distance. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new weather station.

2. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your DreamSky Weather Station:

1. Power Supply: The weather station can be powered by the included adapter or by 3 AAA batteries (not included) for backup. For continuous bright display, use the adapter.


The weather station operates on AC power via an adapter, with battery backup for power outages.

2. Outdoor Sensor Setup: Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the wireless outdoor sensor. Place the sensor in a shaded, dry location outdoors, away from direct sunlight and rain, within 330 feet (100m) of the main unit.


The wireless outdoor sensor has a range of up to 330 feet (100m) in open air and can be placed in various outdoor locations.

3. Atomic Clock Synchronization: The weather station will automatically search for the WWVB atomic signal to synchronize time and date. This process may take several minutes. During the search, the screen may dim for better reception.


The atomic clock automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (DST), ensuring accurate timekeeping.

4. Placement: The main unit can be placed on a tabletop using its foldout stand or mounted on a wall using the two hanging holes.

• Adjustable Backlight: The display features 5 levels of adjustable backlight brightness. Use the 'LIGHT/SNOOZE' button on top to cycle through brightness levels.
• USB Charging Port: A USB port is available for convenient charging of external devices. Note that the dimmer and USB slot only work when connected to the adapter.

• Time and Date Settings: The atomic clock automatically sets the time. If manual adjustment is needed, refer to the instructions on the back of the unit or the full user manual.
• Temperature and Humidity Monitoring: The station displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. It also supports up to 3 outdoor sensors (one included) for monitoring multiple locations.
• Weather Forecast: The station predicts weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours based on atmospheric pressure changes.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and accuracy of your DreamSky Weather Station, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Clean the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the outdoor sensor is kept clean and free from debris. Periodically check its placement to ensure it remains protected from extreme weather conditions.
• Replace batteries in both the main unit (if using backup) and the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your weather station, refer to the common problems and solutions below:

• Screen is dim or not lit:
  • If battery-powered alone, the screen will dim to save power. Connect the station to the adapter.
  • The screen dims when searching for the WWVB signal for better reception. It will light up automatically after searching. You can press and hold the WWVB button to quit the searching.
  • The dimmer level might be set too low. Adjust the dimmer to a higher level using the 'LIGHT/SNOOZE' button.
