3. Setup Guide
3.1 Download and Register the App
- Search for "HomGar" in your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Download and install the app.
- Register a new account and log in.

3.2 Connect the Smart Hub (Gateway)
- Plug the Smart Hub into a power source using the provided USB cable.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network.
- In the HomGar app, tap the "+" icon to add a device.
- Select the Smart Hub (HWG023) from the device list.
- Long-press the button on the Smart Hub until the blue light flashes slowly.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the app to complete the connection.
3.3 Add Thermometer Sensors to the Hub
- Once the Smart Hub is connected, tap its icon on the app homepage.
- Tap the "+" icon to add a sub-device.
- Select the sensor model (HCS701B) from the list.
- Pull out the insulating strip from the battery compartment of each sensor. The red light on the front of the sensor will flash slowly.
- Wait for the app to detect and connect the sensor. Repeat for all three sensors.

The app allows you to track and export up to 2 years of temperature and humidity records. You can view clear trend graphs to monitor environmental changes over 24 hours, 30 days, or longer periods. This feature is ideal for understanding seasonal variations or long-term storage conditions.
4.3 Smart Alerts
Set custom temperature and humidity thresholds within the app. You will receive instant notifications on your smartphone if the readings cross your predefined setpoints, ensuring you are always aware of significant environmental changes.
