Specifications

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your Lawyettle LED Outdoor Wall Lantern. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before starting.

1. Prepare the Fixture: Carefully remove the built-in foam packaging from inside the light fixture.
2. Remove Backplate: Unscrew the screws holding the backplate to the main fixture body.
3. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket (backplate) to your electrical junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
4. Connect Wiring: Connect the electrical wires:
   • Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the white wire (neutral) from the fixture to the white wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the black wire (live) from the fixture to the black wire from the junction box.
   • Secure all connections with wire nuts.
5. Mount Fixture: Carefully align the light fixture with the installed mounting bracket and secure it with the screws removed in step 2.
6. Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

• Automatic Mode: Leave the wall switch in the "ON" position. The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor will detect ambient light levels. The light will automatically turn ON when it gets dark (low brightness) and turn OFF when it becomes bright (high brightness).
• Manual Override (Optional): If you wish to keep the light on during daylight hours, you can temporarily cover the dusk-to-dawn sensor located on the top of the fixture. This will trick the sensor into thinking it is dark, keeping the light illuminated. Remove the cover for automatic operation to resume.
