1. Safety Information
Important: Installation must be performed by a qualified professional. Improper installation can result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury. Always disconnect power before servicing.
Ensure the indoor unit is installed on a hard, flat, and firm wall to prevent vibration and noise. Avoid installing near heat sources, steam, smoke, oil, flammable/explosive gas, or corrosive gas. Maintain clear space around inlet and outlet of both units.

3. Installation
3.1 Preparation Before Installation
Ensure you have all necessary tools and materials. The wall for indoor unit installation should be hard, flat, and firm to avoid vibration and noise.

3.2 Indoor Unit Installation
Follow these steps for installing the indoor unit:
- Remove the mounting bracket pre-installed on the back of the indoor unit.
- Using the paper pattern, identify the exact location to be installed.
- Drill screw holes in the corresponding positions.
- Insert expansion tubes for expansion screws and mount the bracket on the wall.
- Drill a hole in the wall with a hole punch, ensuring a certain angle of inclination (high on the inside, low on the outside) for proper drainage.
- Confirm the direction of placing the air conditioning ducts and use tools to remove the duct boards.
- Remove the film from the surface of the indoor unit.
- Lift the cover, remove the two screws of the power cord cover and the internal screws that hold the cord in place.
- Thread the 5.9ft Communication Cable through the hole on the back of the indoor unit, unscrew the screws according to color, and fix the wires in the corresponding position.
- Line up all the wires and pipes neatly, turn them to the position of the corresponding holes, and wrap them together with plastic tapes.
- Hang the indoor unit on the mounting plate, run the pipes and wires through the holes previously punched, and cover them with pipe protection rings inside and outside the walls, plugging the excess holes using putty.
3.3 Outdoor Unit Installation
Follow these steps for installing the outdoor unit:
- Place the outdoor unit in a suitable location (outside the wall bracket or on the ground). The equipment will need to be purchased separately.
- Connect the two pipes to the outdoor unit, ensuring that the joints fit snugly and are tightened with a wrench.
- Remove the 3 screws from the cover and use a tool to open the two holes at the lower end of the cover.
- Pass the wires through the cover hole (usually the right-hand hole).
- Fix the 3 wires of the power cable one by one according to the color.
- Secure the fixing plate.
- Fix the 4 wires of the communication cable one by one according to the color.
- Install the other end of the power cord on the power supply (green - ground wire, black - fire wire, white - zero wire).
3.4 Vacuuming and Refrigerant Release
This critical step ensures proper system function.
- Unscrew the three nuts circled on the outdoor unit's pipe connections.
- Connect stop valve, charging hose, manifold valve, and vacuum pump as shown in the diagram.
- Vacuumize for at least 15 minutes, making sure the value on the pressure gauge is ≤ -0.1MPa (-76cmHg / 500µm). Keep pressure for 3-5 minutes after vacuumizing, make sure pressure springback ≤ 0.05MPa.
- Open 1/4 liquid valve, then remove the charging hose.
- Using an allen wrench, open all the liquid valves and gas valves, and finally retighten the three caps.
3.5 Drainage Test
Perform a drainage test to ensure proper water flow.
- Pour in 500ml water along the evaporator, about 20 seconds.
- Check to see if water is flowing properly from the pipe outside the wall.
