4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge the headphones. The PROTEAR E6850 features a 1200mAh Lithium battery.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the ear muffs.
  2. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the headphones and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. A charging indicator light will illuminate. The headphones typically take approximately 6 hours to fully charge.
  4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off. Disconnect the charging cable.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually the center button on the control panel) until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the device powers down.

4.4 Adjusting Fit

For optimal hearing protection and comfort, adjust the ear muffs to fit snugly over your ears.

  • Extend the headband and place the ear cups over your ears.
  • Adjust the headband length until the ear cups fully enclose your ears and create a tight seal around them.
  • The upgraded gel ear pads are designed for comfort and a perfect seal, adapting to your ear shape.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Music Playback Controls

When wearing the controls on the left side:

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Center button.

  • Volume Down: Press the Back button.
