Operating Instructions

1. Power On Sequence

  1. Turn on the remote controller first.
  2. Then, turn on the power switch on the dumper truck.
  3. Wait for the remote controller and truck to establish a connection (indicated by LED lights or sound signals).

2. Basic Controls (FS-i6s Remote Controller)

Refer to the FS-i6s remote controller manual for detailed stick and switch assignments. General functions include:

  • Throttle Stick: Controls forward and reverse movement.
  • Steering Stick: Controls left and right turning.
  • Dumper Bed Control: Dedicated switch/lever for raising and lowering the hydraulic dumper bed.
  • Gear Shifting: Switch to engage 3-speed metal gearbox.
  • Differential Locks: Switches to engage/disengage differential locks for 10x10 or 10x6 drive modes.
  • Lights and Sound: Switches for activating realistic lights and engine sounds.

3. Driving the Dumper Truck

  • Start with slow movements to familiarize yourself with the controls.
  • The 10x10 all-wheel drive system provides excellent traction. Use the differential locks for challenging terrain or heavy loads.
  • Utilize the 3-speed gearbox for varying speeds and torque requirements.

4. Operating the Hydraulic Dumper Bed

  • Position the truck correctly before raising or lowering the dumper bed.
  • Use the dedicated control to smoothly raise the dumper bed for unloading.
  • Lower the dumper bed slowly to prevent damage.
  • The truck can carry up to 15KG of load. Do not exceed this capacity.

5. Power Off Sequence

  1. Turn off the power switch on the dumper truck first.
  2. Then, turn off the remote controller.
  3. Disconnect the vehicle battery for storage.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • After each use, especially in dusty or dirty conditions, clean the truck with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Avoid using water directly on electronic components.
  • Remove any debris from the axles, gears, and hydraulic cylinders.

2. Lubrication

  • Regularly check and lubricate moving parts such as universal joints, axles, and hydraulic cylinder pivots with appropriate RC-grade lubricant.
  • Ensure the hydraulic system has sufficient oil. Top up if necessary with the recommended hydraulic oil.

3. Battery Care

  • Always charge Li-Po batteries with a compatible Li-Po charger.
  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge Li-Po batteries.
  • Store Li-Po batteries at a storage voltage (typically 3.8V per cell) if not used for extended periods.
  • Inspect batteries for any signs of damage or swelling before each use.

4. General Inspection

  • Periodically check all screws and fasteners for tightness.
  • Inspect tires for wear and tear.
  • Check wiring for any fraying or damage.
