4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your pump for operation:

  1. Choose Appropriate Adapter: Select the correct hose adapter (1" NPT or 3/4" garden hose) for your water pipe or hose. Securely attach it to the pump's discharge port.
  2. Connect Hose: Attach the 25ft hose (or your own compatible hose) to the adapter. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks.
  3. Position the Pump: Place the pump in the area to be drained. Ensure the pump is on a stable, level surface.

5. Operating Instructions

The TRUPOW Submersible Water Pump operates via manual plug-in/out control.

  1. Initiate Pumping: Once the pump is correctly set up and fully submerged, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The pump will begin operating immediately.
  2. Monitor Water Level: This pump does not have an automatic float switch. It is crucial to monitor the water level to prevent dry running, which can damage the motor. The pump can remove water down to 8mm (approximately 0.3 inches).
  3. Stop Pumping: When the desired water level is reached or the pump is no longer needed, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet to stop operation.
  4. Removing the Pump: When lifting the pump, always use the integrated handle. Do not pull the pump by its power cable.

6. Maintenance
