  • Gently twist the hood until it locks into position.

3. Installing the Protective Filter

A 34mm clear protective filter is included to safeguard the front lens element.

  • The focus distance scale is marked in meters and feet.
  • The minimum focusing distance is 0.7 meters (2.3 feet), depending on camera compatibility.

2. Aperture Control

The aperture is controlled by rotating the attached lens hood.

  • With the lens hood attached, rotate the hood to select your desired aperture setting.
  • The aperture range is from f/3.5 to f/22.
  • The aperture blades are designed to produce pleasing bokeh.

3. Infinity Lock

The lens features a classic 1930s-style infinity lock to secure the focus at infinity.

  • To engage the infinity lock, rotate the focus ring to the infinity position (∞) and then depress the small lever to lock it.
  • To disengage, simply depress the lever and rotate the focus ring.

1. Cleaning the Lens

To maintain optical performance, keep the lens elements clean.

  • For smudges or fingerprints, apply a small amount of lens cleaning solution to a clean microfiber cloth and gently wipe the lens in a circular motion from the center outwards.
  • Never use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

2. Storage

When not in use, store the lens properly to protect it from dust and damage.

  • Attach both the front and rear lens caps.
