VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner Robot User Manual

Model: VLG58000655-1

1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner Robot, model VLG58000655-1. This device is designed to clean various types of debris from both inground and above-ground pools, utilizing your pool's existing pump system for suction.

Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and longevity of the product.

2. Safety Information

  • Always disconnect the pool cleaner from the pump system before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • Ensure the pool pump is turned off before installing or removing the cleaner from the pool.
  • Do not operate the cleaner if any parts are damaged or missing.
  • Keep children and pets away from the pool area when the cleaner is in operation.
  • This cleaner requires a pool pump with a minimum power of 1.5 HP (1100W) for optimal performance. Using an underpowered pump may result in inefficient cleaning.
  • Do not use the cleaner with harsh chemicals that could damage its components.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Hose Assembly

  1. Connect the 12 hose segments together to achieve the required length for your pool. The total length should be sufficient to reach all areas of your pool, plus an additional 3 feet.
  2. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leaks, which can reduce suction efficiency.

4.2. Cleaner Connection

  1. Attach one end of the assembled hose to the inlet port of the VINGLI pool cleaner.
  2. Submerge the cleaner and the entire hose into the pool to remove all air. This is crucial for proper suction.
  3. Connect the other end of the hose to your pool's skimmer or dedicated suction line. Ensure the skimmer basket is clean and free of debris.
  4. If your pool system has a vacuum plate, use it to connect the hose to the skimmer.

4.3. Pump Requirements

The VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner requires a pool pump with a minimum power of 1.5 HP (1100W) for optimal cleaning performance. Ensure your pump meets or exceeds this specification.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Starting the Cleaner

  1. Once the cleaner and hose are fully submerged and connected to the skimmer/suction line, turn on your pool pump.
  2. The cleaner will begin to move and collect debris from the pool floor and walls.

5.2. Adjusting Suction Power

The cleaner is equipped with an adjustable suction regulator. If the cleaner moves too slowly or too quickly, or if suction seems insufficient, adjust the regulator to optimize performance. Increased suction improves cleaning efficiency, especially for heavier debris and wall climbing.

5.4. Surface Compatibility

The cleaner is compatible with all pool types, including above-ground and flat-bottom designs. It is safe and effective on PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, and mosaic concrete surfaces. Its design allows for smooth navigation over obstacles like drains.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Regular Cleaning

  • Skimmer Basket: Regularly check and empty your pool's skimmer basket, as this is where the debris collected by the cleaner will accumulate. A full basket can reduce suction.
  • Cleaner Head: Periodically inspect the cleaner head for any lodged debris, such as large leaves or twigs, and remove them.
  • Hoses: Inspect hoses for cracks, punctures, or blockages. Replace damaged hose segments as needed.

6.2. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the cleaner and hoses from the pool system. Rinse all components with fresh water and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
