1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items are present:

• SALKING 400ml Essential Oil Diffuser
• Power Adapter
• Measuring Cup
• User Manual

1.2 Placement

Place the diffuser on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid placing it on soft materials or in wet conditions. Keep the unit away from direct water exposure.

1.3 Initial Fill

1. Remove the top cover of the diffuser.
2. Using the provided measuring cup, fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' line. Do not overfill.
3. Add 5-10 drops of your preferred essential oil directly into the water tank. Adjust the amount based on desired fragrance intensity.
4. Replace the top cover securely.
5. Connect the power adapter to the diffuser and then plug it into a power outlet.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Power On/Off

Press the 'ON' button to turn the diffuser on or off.

2.2 Mist Modes

The diffuser offers two mist modes:

• Continuous Mist: Provides a steady stream of mist. Ideal for quickly scenting a room.
• Intermittent Mist: Operates with a cycle of 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. This mode extends the diffusion time and provides a softer, lasting effect.

Press the 'CON/INT' button to switch between continuous and intermittent mist modes.

2.3 Timer Settings

Select your desired operating duration using the timer button:

• 1H: Diffuses for 1 hour, then automatically shuts off.
• 3H: Diffuses for 3 hours, then automatically shuts off.
• 6H: Diffuses for 6 hours, then automatically shuts off.

The diffuser also features an automatic shut-off when the water level is low, regardless of the timer setting.

2.4 LED Night Light

The diffuser includes 7 LED light colors. Press the light button to cycle through the colors or set it to a single color. The light can be operated independently of the mist function.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and prevents residue buildup, especially when switching essential oils.

1. Unplug the diffuser from the power outlet and remove the top cover.
2. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
3. Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, use a small amount of mild dish soap and rinse thoroughly.
4. Gently clean the ultrasonic disc (located at the bottom of the water tank) with a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar. Do not scrub or use abrasive materials.
5. Wipe the exterior of the diffuser with a soft, dry cloth.
6. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

4. Troubleshooting

If your diffuser is not functioning as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

• No Mist or Weak Mist:
  • Ensure the diffuser is properly plugged in and powered on.
  • Check if the water level is sufficient. The diffuser will automatically shut off if water is too low.
  • Verify that the top cover is securely placed.
  • Clean the ultrasonic disc as described in the Maintenance section. Mineral buildup can affect mist output.
• Diffuser Not Turning On:
  • Confirm the power adapter is correctly connected to both the diffuser and the power outlet.
  • Ensure the power outlet is functional.
• Water Leakage:
  • Do not overfill the water tank beyond the 'MAX' line.
  • Ensure the top cover is properly aligned and sealed.
  • Place the diffuser on a stable, flat surface to prevent tipping.
• Unusual Odor:
  • Clean the diffuser thoroughly, especially if you have been using different essential oils.
  • Use only pure, high-quality essential oils.
