4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Off
Turn on the water supply to the pressure washer. Press the ON/OFF switch on the unit to power it on. The Total Stop System (TSS) will automatically shut off the pump when the trigger is not engaged, saving energy and prolonging pump life.
4.2 Using the Retractable Hose
To extend the hose, pull it gently to the desired length. The ratchet locking system will hold the hose in place. To retract, give the hose a gentle tug, and it will automatically rewind into the reel.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Hose Care
The 100 ft replaceable pressure hose is constructed with three-layer composite anti-explosion material. To ensure longevity, avoid sharp bends or kinks during use and storage. The automatic rewind system helps protect the hose from damage.

5.2 Nozzle Cleaning
Periodically check nozzles for blockages. Use the included nozzle cleaning tool to clear any debris. A clogged nozzle can reduce pressure and damage the pump.
5.3 Winterization
If storing the pressure washer in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, it is crucial to winterize the unit. Run a pump protector or non-toxic antifreeze through the system to prevent damage from freezing water.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor does not start | No power supply; GFCI tripped; ON/OFF switch off | Check power connection; Reset GFCI; Turn ON/OFF switch to ON |
| No water pressure or low pressure | Water supply off; Kinked hose; Clogged nozzle; Air in pump | Turn on water; Straighten hose; Clean nozzle; Bleed air from pump by running without nozzle until steady stream |
| Unit cycles on and off when trigger is not engaged | Air in pump; Leak in system | Bleed air from pump; Check all connections for leaks |
| Hose does not retract | Hose is fully extended and locked; Obstruction | Give a gentle tug to release the lock; Check for obstructions in the reel mechanism |
The Total Stop System (TSS) automatically shuts the pump off when the trigger is not engaged. This is a normal safety and energy-saving feature.
The GFCI plug is a safety device. If it trips, press the reset button to restore power. If it repeatedly trips, discontinue use and contact support.
