Safety Precautions
To ensure safe and correct use of your Waterdrop DLB Under Sink Water Filter, please observe the following precautions:
- Designed for municipal tap water only. Not suitable for direct use with well water.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without proper disinfection.
- For use with cold water only.
- Do not freeze the replacement filter, as this may cause cracking and water leakage.
- Do not allow children under 3 years old to access small parts during product installation.
- This installation must comply with all applicable state and local regulations.
- Turn off the water supply before replacing the filter.
Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install your Waterdrop DLB Under Sink Water Filter System. A video guide is also available below for visual assistance.
Step 1: Connect the Water Supply (Cold Water Only)
- Connect the inlet tubing to the filter base marked with "IN". Note: When the hose is fully inserted, there will be a 1/8-inch gap between the hose and the filter base. This design allows for easy replacement and does not affect the sealing performance. To remove the hose, press and pull.
- Shut off the water supply, then turn on the kitchen faucet to release the water pressure.
- Disconnect the cold-water pipe from the cold-water supply valve.
- Twist the feed water adapter onto the cold water supply valve (with its washer) and tighten it with an adjustable wrench.
- Twist the cold-water pipe (with the washer) onto the feed water adapter and tighten it with an adjustable wrench.

Step 2: Install the Stainless Steel Faucet
- Insert the faucet spout into the faucet body.
- Insert the faucet stem into the hole on the countertop. Note: If your kitchen sink or countertop has no pre-drilled hole, you will need to drill a one-inch hole or use the existing hole for a soap dispenser.
- Under the sink, slide on the other parts as shown in the video.
- Firmly insert the quick-connect fitting into the faucet stem.
- Connect one end of the outlet tubing to the faucet's quick-connect fitting, then secure it with the clip.
- Connect the other end to the outlet tubing of the filter head marked "OUT". Push the tubing into the fitting until it reaches the marked line.

Step 3: Activate the Filter Life Indicator
- Place the main unit on a flat, clean, and dry surface under the cabinet to ensure the suction cups on the bottom adhere securely.
- Press and hold the left or right button for five seconds until the system beeps, activating the indicator.
Step 4: Check for Leaks and Flush the Filter
Turn on the water supply. Flush the replacement filter for 10 minutes before use.

Leakage Notes:
- In the event of water leakage, turn off the water supply.
- If the leakage occurs at position 1 (feed water adapter connection), wrap Teflon tape around the external thread.
- If the leakage occurs at positions 2, 3, or 4 (tubing connections), check whether the tubing is fully inserted into the fittings. If not, push it in again until it reaches the mark on the tubing.

Operating Instructions
The Waterdrop DLB system offers convenient access to both filtered and unfiltered water.
Switching Between Tap & Purified Water:
The system includes an extra faucet dedicated to purified water. Use your main kitchen faucet for washing dishes, fruits, and vegetables with unfiltered tap water. For purer drinking water and tastier meals, use the separate pure faucet. This helps extend the life of your filter cartridges.

Rapid Flow:
The system is designed for rapid water flow, providing pure water quickly for various needs:
- 2 Seconds: For 6oz of pure hydration.
- 3 Seconds: For 8oz of water for aromatic tea.
- 17 Seconds: For 48oz of fresh water for soup.

Maintenance
Smart Filter Life Indicator:
The filter base features a smart indicator to help you monitor filter and battery life:
- A flashing green light signals it's time to replace the battery.
- A flashing red light and beep alert you when it's time to change the water filter.

Filter Lifespan:
- WD-FDL-B1 filter lasts 6 months.
- WD-FDL-B3 filter lasts up to 12 months.

Filter Replacement Instructions:
Replacing the filters is a quick and easy process, designed to be completed in 3 seconds without tools or secondary pollution.
- Turn off the water supply and open the faucet to release any built-up water pressure.
- Turn the filter a quarter turn to the right to remove it. Note: When unscrewing the filter element, a small amount of water may spill. It is recommended to prepare a towel in advance to wipe it up or place a container beneath the system to catch any water.
- Take out the new filter and remove the protective cap.
- Turn the new filter a quarter turn to the left to install it.
- Briefly press the button to light up the indicator, then hold it for 5 seconds until the system beeps three times to complete the reset.
- Turn on the cold water valve and let it run for five minutes to flush the new filter.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Waterdrop DLB Under Sink Water Filter, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Low Water Flow:
- Check if the water supply valve is fully open.
- Ensure the filter cartridges are correctly installed and not clogged.
- If the filter life indicator shows red, it's time to replace the filter.
- Water Leakage:
- Refer to the "Leakage Notes" in the Installation Guide (Step 4) for specific instructions on checking connections and applying Teflon tape if necessary.
- Ensure all quick-connect fittings are fully inserted and secured with clips.
- Bad Taste or Odor in Filtered Water:
- Ensure the filter has been flushed for the recommended 10 minutes after installation or replacement.
- Check the filter life indicator; a red light means the filter needs replacement.
- Filter Life Indicator Not Working:
- Check if the battery needs replacement (flashing green light).
- Ensure the indicator was activated correctly by pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds until it beeps.
