Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 8 inches from walls or furniture).
- Water Tank Preparation:
- Pull out the water tank from the bottom of the unit.
- Fill the water tank with clean, cool water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
- For enhanced cooling, place the provided ice packs (after freezing them) into the water tank.
- Carefully push the water tank back into the unit until it is securely in place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
Your KEGIAN Evaporative Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
Control Panel and Remote Control Functions

- Power Button (ON/OFF): Turns the unit on or off.
- Speed Button (SPEED): Cycles through fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.
- Mode Button (MODE): Selects operating modes:
- Normal Mode: Standard continuous airflow.
- Natural Mode: Mimics natural wind patterns with varying speeds.
- Sleep Mode: Operates at a lower speed and reduced noise level (approx. 35dB) for quiet operation.
- Cool Mode: Activates the evaporative cooling function, using water from the tank.
- Timer Button (TIMER): Sets an automatic shut-off timer for up to 12 hours. Press repeatedly to adjust the duration.
- Oscillation Button (SWING): Activates or deactivates the 120° wide-angle oscillation feature, distributing air across a wider area.
- Cool Button (COOL): Directly activates the evaporative cooling function.
Using the Cooling Function
To utilize the evaporative cooling feature:
- Ensure the water tank is filled with water and ice packs (if desired).
- Press the MODE button until "Cool Mode" is selected, or press the dedicated COOL button.
- The unit will begin to draw water from the tank to cool the air.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler.
Cleaning the Water Tank
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Carefully pull out the water tank.
- Empty any remaining water.
- Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

Cleaning the Cooling Pad and Air Filter
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the rear grille and carefully extract the cooling pad.
- Rinse the cooling pad under clean water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
- Allow the cooling pad to dry completely before reinserting.
- Clean the air filter (if separate) with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Reassemble the components.
Note: It is recommended to clean the water tank and cooling pad at least once a week, or more frequently depending on usage and water quality, to prevent mold and mildew growth.
