1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper use and maintenance of your Blackview ZENO 1 8-inch tablet. Please read this guide thoroughly before operating the device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

The Blackview ZENO 1 is a versatile 8-inch tablet designed for portability and performance. It features an ultra-slim and lightweight design, making it easy to carry. Powered by an Octa-Core processor and Android 15, it offers smooth performance for various tasks, from gaming to productivity. Key features include 4G LTE and 5G WiFi connectivity, a 90Hz HD display with Widevine L1 support for immersive visuals, and a large 6000mAh battery for extended use. It also boasts ample storage, expandable memory, and a detachable stand for flexible viewing.

2. Setup Guide

2.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Upon opening the package, verify that all components are present and undamaged. The standard package contents include:

2.2. Charging the Tablet

Before first use, fully charge the tablet using the provided USB-C cable and charging head. The 6000mAh battery supports 10W Type-C fast charging.

2.3. Inserting SIM Cards and MicroSD Card

The Blackview ZENO 1 supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM) and TF card expansion. Use the provided card removal tool to open the SIM tray. Insert your SIM cards and/or a MicroSD card (up to 2TB) as shown in the diagram.

2.4. Attaching the Detachable Stand

The tablet comes with a detachable stand for flexible viewing. Align the stand with the designated slot on the back of the tablet and gently push until it clicks into place. This allows for hands-free use in various orientations.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off and Basic Navigation

Press and hold the Power button located on the side of the tablet to turn it on or off. The Blackview ZENO 1 runs on Android 15, offering an intuitive user interface. Navigate using touch gestures: tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom.

3.2. Display Features

The 8-inch LCD features an 800x1280 HD resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and reduced eye strain. It also supports Widevine L1, enabling 1080P streaming from services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

3.3. Connectivity

The tablet supports 4G LTE for cellular data and calls, and dual-band 5G WiFi for high-speed internet access. Bluetooth 5.2 is also integrated for connecting wireless accessories. GPS/Beidou quad-mode satellite positioning ensures reliable navigation.

3.4. Camera Usage

The ZENO 1 is equipped with an 8MP AF rear camera and an 8MP front camera, suitable for everyday photography, video calls, and scanning documents. The rear camera includes a flash for improved low-light performance.

3.5. Audio Experience

Enjoy an immersive audio experience with dual 1217-BQX stereo speakers, supporting multiple audio formats for movies and music. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available for private listening.

3.6. Security Features

The Blackview ZENO 1 supports Face Unlock, allowing you to securely access your device with a glance. Android 15 also provides enhanced privacy and security features, including Private Space encryption and theft detection lock.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Battery Care

To maximize battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully discharging the tablet regularly. Use only the provided charger and cable. For optimal performance, keep the battery charge between 20% and 80% when possible.
