Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Casio fx-CG100 ClassWiz calculator requires four AAA batteries for operation. These batteries are typically included with the product.

  1. Ensure the calculator is powered off.
  2. Slide off the back cover of the calculator.
  3. Insert four AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean the calculator, wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the display or casing.

2. Battery Replacement

  • Adjust the display contrast in the calculator's settings menu.
  • Replace the batteries if they are low.

Calculator Freezes or Malfunctions

  • Press the RESET button located on the back of the calculator (requires a thin, pointed object like a paperclip). Note that this will clear all memory.
  • Remove and reinsert the batteries to perform a hard reset.
