Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press the On/Off button located on the trimmer's body to power it on or off. The LED display will activate upon powering on.
2. Trimming Techniques
For best results, ensure hair is clean and dry. Hold the trimmer with the blade flat against the skin or at a slight angle, moving against the direction of hair growth. Use smooth, even strokes.
- Beard Trimming: Start with a longer guide comb and gradually reduce the length until the desired style is achieved.
- Hairlines and Detailing: Remove the guide comb for zero-gap trimming to create crisp lines and precise detailing.

3. External Rotor BLDC Motor
The VGR 880T is equipped with an external rotor BLDC motor operating at 7200 RPM, providing consistent power for smooth and efficient cutting across all hair types. This motor design ensures high efficiency and low noise during operation.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Blades
After each use, turn off and unplug the trimmer. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any loose hairs from the blade and cutting head. For a more thorough cleaning, the blade can be carefully detached and rinsed under running water, ensuring it is completely dry before reattaching.
2. Lubricating the Blades
To maintain optimal performance and blade longevity, apply a few drops of the included lubricating oil to the blades after every few uses or as needed. Turn the trimmer on for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly.
3. Storage
Store the trimmer in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the trimmer is turned off and fully charged before storing for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
- Trimmer not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the trimmer to the charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power it on again.
- Reduced cutting performance: Clean the blades thoroughly to remove any accumulated hair or debris. Apply lubricating oil to the blades. If performance does not improve, the blades may need replacement.
- Trimmer gets hot during use: This can occur with prolonged use. Ensure blades are clean and lubricated. If overheating persists, discontinue use and allow the device to cool down.
- Unusual noise: Turn off the trimmer and inspect the blades for any obstructions or damage. Clean and lubricate the blades. If the noise continues, contact customer support.
