This high-velocity, IPX4 water-resistant fan is designed for industrial and commercial use, delivering powerful airflow up to 7350 CFM. It features a durable construction with rust-resistant aluminum and powder-coated steel, a TEAO ball bearing motor, and cETL listing for safety.

Important Safety Instructions

• Always disconnect the fan from the power source before cleaning, servicing, or moving.
• Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• This fan is equipped with a GFCI plug to meet U.S. outdoor electrical safety standards. Do not bypass or modify the GFCI plug.
• Ensure the fan is securely mounted to a stable surface before operation.
• Keep hands, hair, clothing, and other objects away from the fan blades during operation to prevent injury.
• Do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.

Note: Mounting bolts (three M8x80 expansion bolts) for concrete or metal surfaces are not included and must be purchased separately.

Setup and Installation

1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping.
2. Assemble Fan Blades: Attach the fan blades to the motor shaft. Ensure the set screw on the fan hub is positioned TOWARDS the motor for correct airflow direction. Incorrect blade installation will result in poor air movement.
3. Attach Grille: Secure the front and rear grilles around the fan blades. Ensure they are properly aligned and fastened to prevent accidental contact with moving parts.
4. Mounting Location: Choose a suitable mounting location on a concrete or metal surface. This fan is not recommended for wood wall installation. Consider the fan's dimensions (27.1"D x 18.8"W x 32"H) and ensure adequate clearance for oscillation and tilt.

5. Install Wall Mount Bracket: Using three M8x80 expansion bolts (not included), securely fasten the wall mount bracket to your chosen concrete or metal surface. Ensure the bracket is level and capable of supporting the fan's weight (approximately 26.46 lbs). The bracket design positions the fan approximately 10 inches off the wall.
6. Attach Fan to Bracket: Mount the assembled fan head onto the installed wall bracket, securing it with the provided hardware. Double-check all connections to ensure stability.

Operating Instructions

The Tornado 24 Inch Outdoor Wall Mount Fan offers two speed settings, oscillation, and vertical tilt for optimal airflow control.

1. Power Connection: Plug the fan's 10-foot SJTW power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet. The integrated GFCI plug provides enhanced safety for outdoor use.
2. Speed Control: Use the pull chain switch located on the fan motor to cycle through the two speed settings:
   • Pull 1: Low Speed (6450 CFM)
   • Pull 2: High Speed (7350 CFM)
   • Pull 3: Off

3. Oscillation Control: The fan features 75° side-to-side oscillation. To activate or deactivate oscillation, use the knob located on the top of the fan motor housing.
4. Vertical Tilt Adjustment: The fan head can be manually tilted up to 25° vertically. Loosen the adjustment knob on the side of the fan, set the desired angle, and then tighten the knob to secure the position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fan.

• Cleaning: Disconnect the fan from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces and grilles. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the fan in water. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Ensure the fan is completely dry before reconnecting to power.
• Motor: The TEAO (Totally Enclosed Air Over) ball bearing motor is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Do not attempt to lubricate the motor.
• Storage: If storing the fan for an extended period, clean it thoroughly and store it in a dry, cool place, protected from dust and moisture.
