  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your car stereo.

  • No Power:
    - Check all power connections to ensure they are securely plugged in.
    - Verify the vehicle's fuse for the stereo system is intact.
  • No Sound:
    - Check speaker wire connections.
    - Ensure the volume is not muted or set to zero.
    - Verify audio settings (EQ, balance, fader) are correctly configured.
  • "No Signal" from Factory Backup Camera:
    - The included adapter for the factory backup camera may not be compatible with all vehicle trims. If you experience this, you may need to install the included AHD backup camera instead.
    - Ensure the reversing input cable is connected to the car stereo, even if using an aftermarket camera, as it affects signal reception.
  • Slow Boot Time:
    - The system typically takes 20-25 seconds to fully boot upon starting the car. This is normal operation for Android-based head units.
  • Bluetooth/WiFi Connectivity Issues:
    - Ensure the reversing input cable is properly connected to the car stereo, as it can impact Bluetooth and WiFi signal reception.
    - Restart the car stereo and your mobile device.
    - Clear Bluetooth/WiFi cache in the system settings if available.
  • Steering Wheel Controls Not Working:
    - Ensure the Canbus decoder is correctly installed and connected.
    - Access the SWC learning function in the system settings and program the buttons according to the instructions.
