1. Important Safety Instructions

  16. Do not operate unattended.

3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains or walls. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. First Use: Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster empty for one cycle at the highest browning setting. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate odors. A slight smoke or odor is normal during this process.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Basic Toasting:

  1. Load Bread: Place up to four slices of bread, bagels, or other items into the 1.5-inch wide slots. The long slots accommodate various bread sizes.

  3. Select Bread Type: Use the touch screen panel to select the appropriate bread type. Options include White, Bagel, Gluten-Free, English Muffin, and Waffle. The selected type will be projected onto the display.

  5. Choose Shade Setting: Swipe or click on the touch screen to select your desired browning shade from the 11 available settings. The projection display will show the chosen level.

  7. Lower Lever: Push the toasting lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin, and the digital timer on the projection display will count down.
  8. Cancel: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the 'Cancel' button on the touch screen.

Special Functions:

Using the Warming Rack:

The built-in warming rack is ideal for heating pastries, croissants, rolls, and other items that should not be directly toasted.

  1. Gently pull up the warming rack from the top of the toaster until it locks into position.
  2. Place items on the warming rack.
  3. Select a low heat setting or use the 'Reheat' function.
  4. Monitor items closely to prevent burning.
  5. Once warmed, push the rack back down for storage.

Cleaning the Crumb Tray:

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove Tray: Locate the slide-out crumb tray at the back of the toaster. Pull it out to remove accumulated crumbs.
  3. Clean Tray: Dispose of crumbs. Wash the tray with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before reinserting.
  4. Reinsert Tray: Slide the clean, dry crumb tray back into its position until it clicks securely.
