4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Deploying Tools

All components are designed for one-hand deployment and are equipped with a locking function for secure use. To deploy a tool:

1. Ensure the safety switch is in the 'green' (open) position.
2. Gently pull the desired tool outwards from the multitool body.
3. Continue pulling until the tool clicks securely into its fully open and locked position.

To close a tool, press the lock backward (as indicated by the arrow on the lock mechanism) and fold the tool back into the body of the multitool.

4.3 Tool Customization and Swapping

The Mini Flex Companion features a modular design, allowing you to swap or replace tools to suit your specific needs. It has space for up to 4 short tools, in addition to the fixed bit adapter, toothpick, and tweezers.

• Only SHORT tools are compatible with the Mini Flex Companion S504G. Large implements are not compatible.
• To swap a tool, use the provided T6 and T8 Torx wrenches as per the instructions included with your bonus tool or replacement tools.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To ensure the longevity and proper function of your multitool:

• Clean the multitool regularly, especially after use in dirty or wet conditions.

• Use the provided T8 Torx wrench to adjust the tightness of the implements. Turn clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen.
• Use the provided T6 Torx wrench to replace the belt clip.

• Tools are stiff or difficult to open: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the pivot points of the tools. Ensure no dirt or debris is obstructing the mechanism.
