Operating Instructions

Converting the Seat Unit (Bassinet to Toddler Seat)

The V5 stroller features a convertible seat unit. To change between bassinet and toddler seat modes, locate the adjustment straps or levers usually found on the underside or sides of the seat. Follow the specific instructions provided in the detailed manual for your model to safely convert the unit. Ensure all fasteners are secured after conversion.

Adjusting the Backrest

The backrest has three recline positions. To adjust, locate the lever or button on the back of the seat unit. Press or lift the mechanism and move the backrest to the desired position. Release the mechanism to lock it in place. Always ensure the backrest is securely locked before use.

Reversing the Seat Direction

The seat unit can be parent-facing or forward-facing. To reverse the seat, first ensure the child is removed from the stroller. Locate the release buttons or levers on both sides of the seat unit where it connects to the frame. Press these buttons simultaneously and lift the seat unit off the frame. Rotate the seat unit 180 degrees and re-attach it to the frame, ensuring it clicks securely into place on both sides.

Using the Safety Harness

The stroller is equipped with a 5-point safety harness. Place your child in the seat and bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders, the waist straps around their waist, and the crotch strap between their legs. Connect all buckles into the central buckle until you hear a click. Adjust the straps for a snug, secure fit, ensuring they are not too tight or too loose.

Applying the Brakes

To engage the brakes, push down firmly on the brake pedal, typically located near one of the rear wheels, until the stroller stops moving. To release, lift the pedal upwards. Always engage the brakes when the stroller is stationary.

Folding the Stroller

Ensure the seat is in the forward-facing position and fully upright (if applicable). Remove any items from the storage basket. Locate the folding mechanism, usually on the handle or sides of the frame. Follow the quick-fold system instructions for your model. Once folded, secure the folding latch to prevent accidental unfolding.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning Fabric: The polyester fabric can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Use mild soap if necessary. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Cleaning Frame: Wipe the aluminum frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Wheel Maintenance: Regularly check wheels for debris and clean as needed. Lubricate moving parts of the wheels and axles periodically with a silicone-based lubricant.
  • Storage: Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspections: Periodically check all screws, rivets, and fasteners to ensure they are tight and secure. Inspect the safety harness for wear and tear.
