3. Product Overview
The AVADA PS01 is a versatile 2-in-1 electric pole saw designed for efficient tree trimming and pruning. It features a powerful brushless motor and a multi-angle adjustable cutting head for various tasks.

Figure 1: The AVADA 2-in-1 Electric Pole Saw can be used as a mini chainsaw or with the extension pole for higher reach.

Figure 2: The telescoping pole extends for up to 15.7 feet of reach, and the cutting head adjusts 0°-180°.

Figure 3: Equipped with a 3rd Generation High-Efficiency Brushless Motor for powerful and quiet operation.

Figure 4: Two 21V 3.0Ah batteries provide 100-120 minutes of continuous cutting with smart protection features.
4. Setup
4.1 Battery Charging
Before first use, fully charge both 21V 3.0Ah batteries using the provided fast charger. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours per battery. The charger features smart protection technology to prevent overheating and overloading.
4.2 Mini Chainsaw Preparation
- Add Chain Oil: Locate the oil reservoir on the chainsaw. Unscrew the cap, add appropriate chain lubricant (not included), and gently press the clear cap before use. The built-in auto-lube system will lubricate the chain automatically during operation.
- Check Chain Tension: The chainsaw features an automatic chain tensioner. Ensure the chain is properly tensioned. If adjustment is needed, use the tool-free adjusting knob to tighten or loosen the chain by hand.
- Install Battery: Slide a charged 21V battery into the battery slot on the mini chainsaw until it clicks into place.

4.3 Attaching the Extension Pole (2-in-1 Mode)
- Ensure the mini chainsaw's battery is removed for safety.
- Align the mini chainsaw with the chainsaw socket on the extension pole.
- Insert the mini chainsaw into the socket until it clicks and the safety latch locks.
- Insert a charged 21V battery into the battery socket at the base of the extension pole.
- Adjust the telescoping pole length by opening the length adjustment clamp, extending to the desired length (5.4 ft to 9.7 ft), and securely closing the clamp.
- Attach the shoulder strap to the shoulder strap loops on the pole to distribute weight and reduce fatigue.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
To start the chainsaw, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the power switch (trigger). Release the power switch to stop the chainsaw.
5.2 Using as a Mini Chainsaw
For trimming low branches or cutting smaller logs, use the mini chainsaw without the extension pole. Ensure a firm grip with both hands and maintain a stable stance.
5.3 Using as a Pole Saw
For high branches, attach the extension pole as described in Section 4.3. The pole allows for up to 15.7 feet of overhead reach (based on a 6-foot-tall person). Use the shoulder strap for better balance and control.
5.4 Adjustable Cutting Angle
The cutting head can be adjusted from 0° to 180°. To adjust, press the angle adjustment button and rotate the cutting head to the desired angle. This feature is useful for trimming branches in tight corners or along fences, reducing strain on the user.

5.5 Cutting Techniques
- Always start the saw before making contact with the branch.
- Allow the saw to do the work; do not force it through the wood.
- For larger branches, make an undercut first to prevent bark stripping.
- Be aware of falling branches and maintain a safe distance.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the chainsaw and pole with a dry cloth. Remove any sawdust or debris from the chain and bar.
- Chain Care: Regularly check the chain for sharpness and tension. Replace dull or damaged chains promptly. The tool-free tensioning system makes this process simple.
- Storage: Store the tool in a dry, secure place out of reach of children. Remove batteries before long-term storage.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully discharged batteries.
7. Troubleshooting
- Tool not starting: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check that the safety lock button is pressed before squeezing the power switch.
- Reduced cutting performance: Check chain tension and sharpness. Add chain oil if the reservoir is low.
- Overheating: The smart protection technology will shut down the tool if it overheats. Allow it to cool down before resuming operation. Avoid continuous heavy use.
