  1. Prepare Food: Wash, peel, and slice your desired food items. Ensure slices are uniform in thickness for even drying.

  3. Insert Trays: Slide the loaded trays into the dehydrator. Close the door securely.
  4. Set Timer: Use the digital control panel to set the desired drying time (0-24 hours). Refer to a food dehydration guide for recommended times for specific foods.

  6. Monitor Progress: Periodically check the food for desired dryness. Drying times can vary based on food type, thickness, and humidity.
  7. Completion: Once the timer finishes or food is adequately dried, the unit will stop. Unplug the dehydrator and allow the food and trays to cool before handling.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the dehydrator from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove Trays and Drip Tray: Take out all stainless steel trays and the drip tray.
  3. Wash Components: Wash the trays and drip tray in warm, soapy water. For stubborn residue, soak them for a few minutes before scrubbing with a non-abrasive sponge or brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These components are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong their life.
  4. Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the dehydrator with a damp cloth. For sticky residue, use a mild detergent solution, then wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Ensure the interior is completely dry before reassembling.
  5. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can scratch the stainless steel finish.
  6. Storage: Store the clean and dry dehydrator in a cool, dry place when not in use.
