1. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Read all instructions before using this appliance.

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the appliance and all accessories from the box.
2. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels.
3. Ensure all listed components are present. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not use the appliance and contact customer support.

3.2 Placement

• Place the appliance on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clear space on all sides of the appliance for proper air circulation.
• Do not place the appliance near flammable materials such as curtains or drapes.
• Ensure the power cord is not pinched or touching hot surfaces.

3.3 Initial Cleaning

1. Before first use, wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
2. Wash all accessories (air fry basket, oven rack, baking pan, crumb tray) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3. Insert the crumb tray into the bottom of the oven.
4. Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. It is recommended to run the oven empty for about 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial use; this is normal. Ensure adequate ventilation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

• Digital Display: Shows temperature, time, and selected preset.
• TEMP +/- Buttons: Adjusts cooking temperature.
• TIME +/- Buttons: Adjusts cooking time.

4.2 Basic Operation

1. Power On: Plug the appliance into a grounded outlet. The display will illuminate.
2. Select Function: Press the desired function icon (e.g., "AIR FRY"). The default temperature and time for that function will appear on the display.
3. Adjust Settings: Use the TEMP +/- buttons to adjust the temperature and the TIME +/- buttons to adjust the cooking duration.
4. Preheat (Optional): Some functions may include a preheat cycle. If not, you can manually preheat by setting the desired temperature and time, then pressing START. Add food after preheating is complete.
5. Start Cooking: Place food inside the oven using the appropriate accessory (e.g., air fry basket for air frying, baking pan for baking). Close the French doors. Press the START button to begin cooking.
6. Monitor Cooking: The large viewing window allows you to monitor food progress without opening the doors.
7. Stop Cooking: To stop cooking at any time, press the STOP/CANCEL button.
8. Remove Food: Once cooking is complete, carefully open the French doors. Use oven mitts to remove hot food and accessories.

5. Cooking Presets

The Gourmias GTF2440 features 19 one-touch presets designed to simplify cooking for common dishes. Each preset has optimized default temperature and time settings, which can be adjusted as needed.

To use a preset, simply press the corresponding icon on the control panel. The oven will automatically set the recommended temperature and time. You can then adjust these settings using the TEMP +/- and TIME +/- buttons before pressing START.
