Setup

1. Assembling the Adjustable Stand

The AY3 mini projector features a 360° rotatable stand for versatile projection angles.

  1. Prepare the projector, screws, and projector bracket.
  2. Rotate the screws and tighten them to secure the projector to the stand.
  3. Rotate the projector to the desired position. The stand allows for full 360° rotation without tools.

2. Initial Power On

Connect the power adapter to the projector's DC input and then to a power outlet. The projector will power on.

4. Connecting Input Sources

The AY3 projector supports multiple input options:

  • HDMI: Connect devices like laptops, TV sticks, gaming consoles, or DVD players using an HDMI cable.
  • USB: Insert a USB flash drive to play media files directly.
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: Connect external speakers or headphones for enhanced audio.
  • Wireless Connectivity (WiFi 6 & Bluetooth 5.2):
    • WiFi 6: Connect to your home network for screen mirroring from smartphones or tablets. Note: Due to HDCP copyright restrictions, direct mirroring of streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime from phones is not supported. A TV stick (e.g., Fire TV Stick) connected via HDMI is recommended for these services.
    • Bluetooth 5.2: Connect to Bluetooth speakers for audio output or use the projector as a Bluetooth speaker itself.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

2. Adjusting Focus (Electric Focus)

The AY3 features electric focus for clear images. Use the dedicated focus buttons (F+ / F-) on the remote control to adjust the image sharpness. This allows for quick adjustments without physically moving the projector.

3. Auto Keystone Correction

The projector automatically corrects vertical trapezoidal distortion, ensuring a straight and sharp image within approximately 3 seconds. Manual vertical correction is also possible via the remote control.

4. Zoom Function

5. Screen Mirroring and Rotation

6. Audio Output

The AY3 has a built-in speaker. For a more immersive audio experience, connect external Bluetooth speakers or a soundbar.
