This portable music player is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 for seamless wireless connectivity, ample storage (64GB or 80GB, expandable up to 128GB), and a range of additional functions including FM radio, voice recording, pedometer, and more. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper operation and longevity.

3.1. Device Layout (General)

• Display Screen: Main interface for navigation and content display.
• Navigation Buttons: Typically include Up/Down/Left/Right, Menu, Back, and Play/Pause/Confirm.

• Power Button: For turning the device on/off and screen lock.

4. Getting Started (Setup)

4.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your MP3 player. Connect the provided USB cable to the device's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

4.2. Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until a power-off prompt appears, then select 'Power Off'.
• Screen Lock/Unlock: Briefly press the Power button to lock or unlock the screen during operation.

4.3. Transferring Music Files

To transfer music or other files to your MP3 player:

1. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. The device will appear as a removable disk drive (e.g., 'YOTON MP3') on your computer.
3. Open the device folder. You can drag and drop your music files (MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, etc.) directly into the 'Music' folder or create new folders for organization.
4. Once transfer is complete, safely eject the device from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable.

4.4. Inserting/Removing TF Card

Your MP3 player comes with a 64GB TF card pre-inserted. If you wish to use a different card (up to 128GB):

• To Insert: Gently push the TF card into the card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
• To Remove: Gently push the TF card inwards until it springs out, then pull it out.

5. Basic Operation

5.1. Navigation and Menu

Use the navigation buttons to move through menus and select options. The central button typically acts as 'Confirm' or 'Play/Pause', while a dedicated 'Back' or 'Return' button allows you to go back to the previous screen.

5.2. Music Playback

From the main menu, select 'Music' to browse your audio files. You can navigate by artist, album, genre, or folder.

• Play/Pause: Press the central button.
• Next/Previous Track: Use the forward/backward navigation buttons.
• Volume Adjustment: Use the dedicated volume buttons on the side of the device.

5.3. Bluetooth Connection

Connect your YOTON MP3 Player to Bluetooth headphones or speakers for wireless audio.

1. Go to the 'Bluetooth' menu on your MP3 player.
2. Turn on Bluetooth.
3. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones/speaker are in pairing mode.
4. The MP3 player will scan for available devices. Select your device from the list to pair.
5. Once paired, audio will be routed wirelessly to your connected device.

5.4. FM Radio Function

To use the built-in FM radio:

1. Plug in the wired earphones (they act as the antenna).
2. Navigate to the 'FM Radio' option from the main menu.
3. Use the auto-scan feature to find and save available stations.
4. You can switch between saved stations or manually tune to a frequency.

5.5. Other Functions

The YOTON MP3 Player offers several additional features:

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

Wipe the device regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

6.2. Battery Care

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Charge the device regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures (hot or cold), as this can degrade battery performance.

6.3. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the MP3 player in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. It is recommended to charge the device to about 50% before long-term storage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your YOTON MP3 Player, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Device won't turn on:
  Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a charger for at least 10 minutes. If it still doesn't turn on, try holding the Power button for a longer duration (e.g., 10-15 seconds) to force a restart.
• No sound from earphones/speakers:
  Check the volume level. Ensure earphones are fully plugged in. If using Bluetooth, confirm the device is paired and connected, and the volume on both the player and the receiving device is up. Try different earphones/speakers to rule out accessory issues.
• Bluetooth connection issues:
  Ensure both devices are in pairing mode and within range. Turn Bluetooth off and on again on both devices. Delete previous pairings and try re-pairing. Ensure there is no interference from other wireless devices.
• Cannot transfer files to the device:
  Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the MP3 player and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable. Ensure the device is recognized as a removable disk. Restart both the computer and the MP3 player. Check if the device's storage is full.
• Screen unresponsive or frozen:
  Press and hold the Power button for about 10-15 seconds to force a restart. If the issue persists, allow the battery to fully drain and then recharge it.
• FM Radio not working:
  Ensure wired earphones are plugged in, as they serve as the antenna. Try auto-scanning for stations again in a different location.
