5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Mouse

5.2 Connecting via 2.4G Wireless Mode

1. Locate the 2.4G USB receiver stored in the slot on the bottom of the mouse.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "2.4G" position. The indicator light will turn green.
4. Your computer should automatically detect and install the mouse. You are now ready to use the mouse in 2.4G mode.

5.3 Connecting via Bluetooth Mode

1. Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "BT" position. The indicator light will turn blue.
2. On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
3. Press and hold the scroll wheel button for more than three seconds until the indicator light turns blue and starts flashing, indicating pairing mode.
4. Select "EWEADN Q5" from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your computer to pair.
5. Once paired, the blue indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

6.1 Adjusting DPI Sensitivity

The EWEADN Q5 mouse offers three adjustable DPI levels (800, 1200, 1600) to suit different tasks and preferences. To change the DPI:

• Press the DPI switch button located on the top of the mouse, below the scroll wheel.
• Each press will cycle through the DPI settings. The indicator lights will briefly show the current DPI level.
• Choose the sensitivity that best fits your needs for precise control or faster cursor movement.

6.2 Using Side Buttons

The mouse includes two side buttons for quick navigation:

• The Forward Button (upper side button) typically moves forward in web browsers or file explorers.
• The Back Button (lower side button) typically moves backward in web browsers or file explorers.

6.3 Battery Level Display

• One lamp on: Battery level is below 50%.
